Across Washington State, students are stepping up to lead—not just in their classrooms, but in shaping the policies that define higher education.
“Leading from the Ground Up” follows student leaders in the Communities for Our Colleges (C4C) movement as they organize, advocate, and inspire change across campuses. From rallying for equitable funding and free college to sharing their personal stories of perseverance, these young leaders are proving that the future of our colleges lies in the power of collective action.
Through their voices, we see what real leadership looks like: grounded in community, driven by justice, and rooted in the belief that education should be accessible to all—no matter who you are or where you come from.
